Let's see ...Where to begin ?? How exciting !!! 60 days and counting our Big day get's closer and closer. How are we dealing with it all you might wonder ? Well breathing slowly in and out seems to work for me....well it helps alittle. I have my super glorious im floating in clouds and riding down happy colored rainbow days and then there are those days where a black rain cloud just swoshes over me and lighting boltz start to shoot out the sky and Zap me. Maybe that was a bit over the top but I swear just one little thing can change my mood you would swear I have a personality disorder. My groom on the other hand is trying to maintain his own stress levels and as he tries to help me deal with my bad days he has been struggling with his own. We both agree that we can't wait till all the planning and arranging is over so we can just enjoy the DAY. I have came to terms long ago nothing is ever going to be Perfect. I just want to bring all our families together and have one great party and celebrate.
I know that picking a Sunday would make it hard for people to stay late or even come. I just couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to have a wedding on a phenomonal date .... 10/10/10. How can I possibly forget this date? So many reasons 10/10/10 is such a great date. 10+10+10=30 and I just turned 30 this year. 10 people are in my wedding party. People always refer to the Top 10 things they need to do or the Top 10 greatest hits.. We are The Perfect 10 wedding. As you can see I have loved from the begining the date 10/10/10 just wished it wasn't a Sunday. At least for some folks they wont have to work the next day because it's a holiday Columbus Day weekend.
We have such a large amount of family that Angel and I had to find a way to be fair and still maintain within our budget. There are a few people we would love to come but we do have to make sure that our families are put first on our list. We , also decided to make our wedding an Adult reception mainly because we considered the little ones would be tempted to touch many of the intricate details at the wedding that might harm them. Also, any damages would have to be covered by us.
Im sure there are going to be some upsets about our wedding list but I hope that everyone can understand and respect that we have done the best we can to be fair and include as many people from both our families that we could fit.
I want everyone to know this is an Open Bar event and I want the Over 21 crowd to come and let loose and party with us with no worries. Other than your normal holidays, How often do you get a chance to come out and just have fun with friends and most of your family? We can't wait to party with everyone and just have a great time.
I know that there will be some people we love and wish could be at our wedding will not be able to attend. You will be missed and I will make sure to share with you all the details and Photos of our big day and post some of them on FB as well so you can see.
Some of you might already be aware of this but our invites went out on 08/10/2010 and the responses are due before 09/10/2010. We hope everyone can make it but if not no worries there will be other event's coming up real soon :) Please just send out your RSVP cards and indicate Accept or Decline so that I know if there will be enough seats for everyone the day of the wedding or if I have room to invite a Friend.
Some other exciting news I was able to get great hotel rates for anyone wanting a place to rest there head or party late. The hotel is providing Shuttle Service to and from where we will be celebrating our Wedding..No need to drive anywhere just rent a room and the hotel will get you there and back. I know a few of us will be reserving rooms for the day before and the day of the wedding so feel free to join us and reserve your room today ! Next wedding event will be my Bridal Shower !! My Mom and Sister and there little helpers are planning this ultra posh get together at my mom's house that im super excited about. I really had hoped it would be a day to have the woman of both families get together and have a few laughs and get to know each other before the Wedding. My sister did an awesome job on sending out the invites and the day is getting closer. My mother is preparing her home to host this event and is doing a great job decorating. Im not sure how many people have RSVP'd to make this event but I look forward to sharing a few cups of Sangria with the woman that do.
I have my first wedding dress alterations appointment this weekend. I will be wearing the Veil that I had custom made and shoes and items that I brought from Overseas to complete my wedding look. I can't wait to see how it all looks together for the first time. I also have an appointment with my cousin Brenda slash hairstylist this weekend to go over what would be the day of Wedding hairstyle. Hopefully with her talents and style we can come up with something that looks amazing.
